Buy Seconds

Terms and Conditions

  • The maximum number of seconds that can be bought by any individual or company is 10.
  • When you 'buy' seconds you will not 'own' any part of the website. Instead, you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the website in the respective 'space' occupied by the second(s) you have paid for.
  • You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image and link you want on the website. The only exception is if you have a strong reason why you need to change your image or link, eg. your site no longer exists, major structural changes occur to your site, lawsuits, etc.
  • No obscene, offensive, adult images or links will be accepted, and we decide what is appropriate for our website. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose the right to occupy the second(s) you paid for.
  • If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive, obscene or adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.
  • Links must be to webpages only and begin with 'http://'.
  • If for whatever reason you want your image and link removed from the website once it has been submitted, you can request this, but you will not get a refund and the 'space' occupied by your seconds(s) will become publically available again.
  • Images must be submittedd in a GIF of JPEG file format and measure 48 pixels in width and 24 pixels in height. Once submitted, a border measuring one pixel wide will be added around the image.
  • Animated images of any kind will not be accepted.
  • You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit. If it is found that you do not have this authority your image and link will be removed. You will not get a refund and the 'space' occupied by your second(s) will become publically available again.
  • Funds must be fully received and cleared before your seconds go live on the website.
  • There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.
  • Once you have ordered your seconds and the funds have cleared (eg. in our PayPal or bank account), we will aim to get your seconds online within 24 - 48 hours.
  • If your image and link are accepted and published on the website, you cannot get a refund.
  • The image and link which you provide will be published on the website for one year. Your seconds can be renewed after this period for an additional fee.

Payment

Payment for seconds should be made via the PayPal website by clicking on the icon at the bottom of this page. Payment can be made using funds in an existing PayPal account or using any major credit or debit card (including Solo and Electron) i.e. you do not have to have a PayPal account set up to buy seconds. You can only buy one second at a time so if purchasing more than one second then please repeat this process as many times as necessary in order to pay for the correct number of seconds which you require in total. Once you have paid for your second(s), please e-mail sales@advertseconds.com with the following:

  1. If you are paying using a PayPal account state your PayPal e-mail address. If you are paying using a debit or credit card state your full name or the name of the company for whom you are buying.
  2. State which second you want your image to occupy on the website (eg."Second 1"). Make sure you are certain, because this can not be changed later.
  3. State the name of the image which should occupy this second (e.g. my_advert.jpg, my_space.gif) and the web address which your image should link to (websites must begin with 'http://').
  4. Attach your image in a GIF or JPEG file format (measuring 48 pixels in width and 24 pixels in height).
  5. Repeat this process for any additional seconds you would like to buy.

The current estimated time from ordering your seconds to going live on the website is 24 hours (although please allow up to 48 hours). Please also note if two or more buyers ask for the same second on the website, the buyer who ordered earliest will have priority.
